Multiple intermediate layers contain tin powder, giving the material an internal luminosity that subtly shifts as the pattern catches the light. In addition, parts of the top layer also include tin powder, enhancing the highlights and creating a sense of molten, organic motion across the glossy surface.
Reinforced with a fiberglass backing, the sheet offers excellent dimensional stability, rigidity, and clean edge finishing — ideal for high‑end knives, custom presentation boxes, jewelry accents, instrument details, luxury accessories, and small decorative panels.
This material can be cut with a laser cutter, CNC router, or by hand, depending on your workflow and precision needs.
Important: The urushi/tin‑powder surface must remain untouched — no sanding or shaping like micarta or G10.
